How are you? I hope well.

This week has been great, he had zone conference in Casper on Friday and unfortunately Elder Treanor got transferred so I did not get to see him. We were taught about desire by the assistants and how much of a difference maker it is in our missionary work. I was able to reflect a lot on what I desire and how I can improve. We talked about the importance of talking to everyone and having a goal to share the gospel with all those who are placed in your path. That was a great experience. I loved it.

On Saturday we had a no drive day so we could not use our vehicle, and of course, the weather was not in our favor. It got down to about 19° and was snowing, and of course, wind. Gotta love the ol' 307. I had a bunch of snow in my hair then we went into someones house and it melted, THEN we went back outside and it froze solid. That was quite the experience, I would recommend that if you haven't tried it. 

I gave a talk on Sunday and also taught primary sharing time in Pavillion, what a riot that was.

Ya Bio Pt. 2

Hey guys,

This week was a great one, we of course had the privilege of listening to our prophet speak to us which is always a delight. I am so excited for the new changes that will be implemented, President Nelson is definitely inspired. I got to go on an exchange with a newer missionary and we had a great time together, he taught me a lot. 

We went to Sinks Canyon in Lander this morning and hiked around in the snow so that was tons of fun. It was the first time I had gone hiking during my mission and I forgot how much I enjoyed it. This week went by super fast so I don't have a ton to report. This week is Zone Conference so we're excited to listen to what President McMurray has prepared for us.

Week 29: Pickles on the Side

I'll just jump right into it cause I'm sick of trying to think of clever ways to start an email. 

We had a good week. Michael received the Aaronic Priesthood so that was a great opportunity to see that. I had an exchange with Elder Cerezo again yesterday and was able to learn so much about the work, and how to be a better disciple. He is such a great missionary and I feel so blessed to serve around him. He is actually my mission grandfather as well. We have been talking a lot lately about how to more effectively work with the members, I think this is one of the more difficult aspects of missionary work because it is hard to motivate others to share the gospel, but it's coming along. 

We had a nice sit down this morning with one of the local Pastors for a few hours. We were able to learn a lot about the bible and I hope we were able to teach him a bit as well. He's a very nice guy and owns one of our favorite restaurants in town, so it's a great relationship that we have. I love being a missionary and my testimony gets to be strengthened by others as well as my own study everyday. 

I am beyond excited for general conference. Such a great time of year. 

Winter is just about here in Riverton, It's getting colder and colder everyday and I couldn't be happier.
