This week has been phenomenal. We're teaching a new family that has been showing interest for a long time. They're super solid and are very excited to learn more about the gospel. I love this work so much. 

Elder Powers and I have just been doing all we can to earn the Lord's trust, and be on his errand. 

Missions are full of tough times but that's often times why they are so beneficial. In Alma 20:29 we are taught just that. I am a firm believer that everything hard we go through makes us better. I am so grateful for this great opportunity I have to serve and I wouldn't trade it for anything. 

The church is true brother and sisters. 

I love you all very much. Sorry I'm the worst email writer in the world.

Dear Distinguished Colleagues,

It was my birthday this week and only a small handful of you wished me happy birthday, so I guess I know who my real friends are. To say the least, I am salty.

On Friday we had all of our appointments fall through so me and my boy Elder Powers did tons of finding, it was the Bee's Knees. Some members grilled us some steak so that was pretty legit.

We had a super cool experience this week, we've been trying to focus on specific prayers lately, and we were able to find some new people to teach and it was exactly the amount we prayed for. Super cool, the Lord works in mysterious ways.

We have had a great week, it went by super fast. We've been able to see a lot of progression from that family we've been teaching so we are so excited about that. We have been all over the place this week between exchanges and going to Zone Conference and Pavillion. 

We had Zone Conference in Casper this weekend so that was a great time. I got to see a ton of friends from the mission including my boy Elder Treanor (my father) I love that guy so much. Got to see elder Bailey as well who went to Lone Peak, great guy. And had an awesome interview with President McMurray, that guy just knows how to light a spiritual fire under you. He's the bee's knees, love him lots. 

We went to former stake president Lorimer's house today to do some service. He started the second rescue of the Willie and Martin handcart companies. If you don't know what that is, look it up. He told us a ton of cool stories and showed us a bunch of stuff he got from it. He is an absolute legend up here in Riverton. 

Anyway, that's about it, it was a good week for sure.
